About Dr. Hamilton
Dr. Karen Hamilton is a gynecologic laser surgeon and the Director of Cascade
Medical Aesthetics. She is a graduate of the Medical College of Wisconsin and
completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at the University of Wisconsin
program in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1997. She then joined the Center for Women's
Health at Evergreen and cared for women and their families there for 10 years,
delivering thousands of babies and treating many gynecologic disorders.
In her training, practice, and personal life, Dr. Hamilton was acutely aware of the
vaginal and other changes many women suffered after having one or several babies
as well as those due to aging. She also wished to provide medical cosmetic
services such as liposuction, Botox, cosmetic fillers, and laser skin treatments,
which seemed a natural extension of women's health care. Troubles with her own
health made it difficult for her to continue practicing traditional OB/GYN, so she
pursued additional education. She completed the Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation
Institute of America's Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation and Designer Laser Vaginoplasty
training under the direction of Dr. David Matlock (seen on "Dr. 90210") in Beverly
Hills, California. She then followed with instruction from the International Society
of Cosmetogynecology in Tumescent Liposuction and Medical Cosmetic Treatments.
This additional training allowed her to open Cascade Medical Aesthetics, currently
the only destination in the Northwest to offer this unique combination of services
for sexual enhancement and improved well-being.
Dr. Hamilton is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and
was board certified in 2001. She is an Associate of the Laser Vaginal Institute of
America and a member of the International Society of Cosmetogynecology.
Dr. Hamilton believes in excellent, personalized service, and carefully listens to
every client. She wants each one to feel comfortable and understood. She is
extremely gentle and genuinely cares about each and every person she sees. She
has faced many of the problems her patients have to deal with herself, and treats
everyone like she would want to be treated. She has structured her practice so
that she can ensure that each client receives the individualized care and attention
that they deserve.
